BCMCR Research Theme 20/21 – Alternativity

Over the course of the 2020/21 academic year, researchers in the BCMCR will be producing work in relation to the research theme of ‘Alternativity’. With this theme, we are interested in exploring the ways in which cultural practices identified as “alternative” emerge across all areas of individual and collective expression, from DiY aesthetics to ethics to political movements.
